SEP 2nd
Departure from Zagreb in the morning and drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a glorious expanse of forested hills and turquoise lakes. You will be in the park for about 3 hours depending on the weather conditions, with guidance in English. You will take a walk around the lower lakes, ride a boat across the biggest lake and end your stay in the park by driving in the electric train through the park. Departure for Zadar in the afternoon. After check-in at the hostel, a local guide will take you on a 1.5-hour walking tour and show you the best Zadar has to offer. You will get useful tips on where to eat, what to see and experience in this lively student city.
SEP 3rd
Departure at 8 am from Fosa port in Zadar, and return in Zadar at 6 pm. Upon entering Kornati National Park, after a 2-hour trip, you will spend the rest of the trip inside the area of the Park. Panoramic sightseeing of the islands and high rocks will lead you to a beautiful Lojena beach located on the island of Levrnaka where we make an hour's break for swimming. After a pleasant swim, we will continue our trip towards the island of Kornat and Tarac Bay where we make a second 45-minute break for sightseeing and swimming. There we will visit Our Lady of Tarac Church built in the 17th century and Tureta Fort dating back to the 6th century from where you will have a magnificent view over the Kornati archipelago.
We will take a different route back towards Suha Punta alongside the island of Kornat where we make a third and final 2-hour break for lunch and swimming. Lunch is served in small fishermen's settlements in the Dalmatian ambient and in a shade provided by century-old olive trees. You will be served grilled fish or meat and a mixed salad made of seasonal vegetables. Throughout the entire trip, guests can help themselves with wine, Coca-Cola, various juices and water.
After the excursion, you will have free time in Zadar.
